Tan Song Yun (English name: Seven) is a Chinese actress from Sichuan. Tan started her career as a child actress in 2005 when she filmed the television series “Wild Chrysanthemum”. She gained more attention in 2012, after starring in the hit historical series “Empresses in the Palace”.
She won the Best Prospect award at the iQiyi All-Star Carnival for her role in “With You” and the “Best New Actress Award” at the Huading Awards for “My Whirlwind Girl”. In 2017, she starred in the romantic comedy series “The Fox’s Summer”, for which she won the “Best Actress Award” for the network section at the Asia New Media Film Award as well as the Golden Bone Flower Awards. On May 31, 2020, she released her first EP, “I’m Here” written for and dedicated to her mother.
On October 17, 2019, Tan was selected listed in the 2019 Forbes China 30 Under 30 Elite. In 2020, she won the “Best Actress in Ancient Drama Award” for her role in “Under the Power” at iQiYi Scream Night 2021 and also won the “Best Actress Award” at the Internet Film Festival for her role in “Go Ahead”. Tan won many awards for her role in “Under The Power” and “Go Ahead”. In October 2021, Tan won the “Outstanding Feature Award” of the Seoul TV Drama Awards.
In 2021, Song Yun was nominated as “Best Actress” for the 27th Magnolia Awards for her drama “Go Ahead”.
Tan’s “The Sword and The Brocade” became 2021’s Tencent Business Breakthrough Awards Drama Series.
