She appeared on Taiwanese television before she became a celebrity, when she was a 16 year old girl on Jacky Wu’s Guess Guess Guess show, where she showed her ability to play the flute. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. , signing under the Taiwanese record label HIM International Music.The release of her debut album, To Hebe, established her as a solo artist.
